Yellow Pages South Africa was looking to re-imagine and evolve their offering to serve and empower the small-medium business market. To that end, they built an eCommerce market place where businesses could sell and buy products and services from each other and the general consumer market.
The Yellow Pages brand carries a lot of fond nostalgic heritage as a book of contacts but
we needed to evolve the brand to communicate a 21st century, modern and digital-first proposition while retaining some of the brand's heritage so as to retain existing customers.
So we changed their name to Yep!
The name Yep! is an expression of affirmation it also stands for Yellow Enterprise Platform.
Yep! seeks to affirm the mission of South African businesses and entrepreneurs by providing them with a platform of opportunity where everyone can find what they need.
